Il cimitero monumentale di Parabita è stato progettato nel 1967 dallo Studio G.R.A.U. di Roma, del quale fanno parte gli architetti Alessandro Anselmi e Paola Chiatante. I lavori vengono effettuati con impiego di manufatti edilizi in cemento armato e pietra carparo. La pianta del cimitero simboleggia l'esplosione di un capitello corinzio. Il nuovo cimitero viene inaugurato nel 1982. Il plastico del Cimitero Monumentale di Parabita è esposto al MAXXI di Roma, nella sezione della esposizione permanente. (Wikipedia)
